How many businesses in Karachi have no website?

In OpenStreetMap data up to 3 November 2026, Karachi had 2,184 listed cafes, bakeries and salons, and 2,160 of them (99%) showed no website. That does not mean 99% have no site, because many map listings are short. It gives you a list to check, not a list of proven leads.

The Karachi data: 2,160 of 2,184 list no website

We searched the Karachi Division area and counted each business name once:

Business typeListedNo website listedOf those, phone listed
Cafes64163448
Bakeries724716113
Hair & beauty salons819810136
Total2,1842,160297

The useful number is the last column. Only 297 of the 2,160 list a phone number, so for most of them you need to search Google, Instagram or Facebook, or visit in person. The same search found 1,223 of 1,257 clothing shops and 2,842 of 2,901 restaurants with no website listed.

Try it: run the same search for your area

Pick a business type and keep Karachi, or type Lahore, Islamabad or any other city. You get how many have no website on the map, and the first ten by name. It reads a limited number of listings at a time, so a big city can show a smaller count than the table above. One free search, no sign-up.

Turn the list into real leads

  1. Pick one type and one area you can reach, such as bakeries in North Nazimabad or cafes in Clifton. A small list you can check beats a big list you cannot.
  2. Check each business. Search its name on Google and Instagram. If you find a working website, take it off the no-website list.
  3. Prepare something specific. For a bakery, that could be a one-page menu with prices, location and a WhatsApp button.
  4. Send one short, honest message, or visit with the sample on your phone. Say who you are, and do not use scare lines or send bulk messages.
  5. Price it simply. Use our freelance pricing calculator, and see what websites cost in Pakistan.
  6. Record who you contacted so nobody hears from you twice.

Businesses that already have a website

The 24 that do list a website can still be clients. Run the free website audit tool first, then lead with what already works and two or three real fixes, as in our website audit cold email template.

Do this every day without the spreadsheet

ClientoraHQ's Local Biz finder lists businesses with and without a website, audits the weak sites, scores each lead, writes a pitch that you approve and marks who you contacted. Compare with the Lahore numbers, read the full method in our guide on how to find local businesses without a website, or use the businesses without websites finder for another city.

Questions people ask

Where do these Karachi numbers come from?

From OpenStreetMap open data up to 3 November 2026, searched across the Karachi Division area on 5 November 2026 and counted once per business name. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors.

Do 99% of Karachi businesses really have no website?

No. The figure only means 99% of these map listings do not include a website. Many listings hold just a name and a location, so a business may have a site that is not listed. Look each one up on Google before you contact it.

Which Karachi areas should I start with?

Start where you can visit. In this data, the listings with an area named most often for these businesses include DHA, North Nazimabad, Clifton and PECHS. Many listings have no area at all, so this is not a ranking of the city.

Should I message every business with a phone number?

No. Pick a few that you have checked, and write to each one personally. Do not send bulk messages, and stop if the owner says no.

Can I run this search for another city?

Yes. The finder works for other cities in Pakistan and abroad, and we also publish numbers for Lahore.
